On Saturday, March 7 from 9 - 12p, we're teaming up with Austin Parks Foundation (APF) for their most popular volunteer Spring event, It’s My Park Day at Festival Beach Community Garden!

Join us for our first member volunteer day and to be a part of one of Austin’s most inspiring and impactive days.

All GTW Members will receive our NEW custom GTW x Frankie Jean specialty hats!

Event Details

It’s My Park Day is APF’s largest city-wide volunteer event with over 3,000 volunteers helping to improve and transform nearly 100 parks and the surrounding greenbelts throughout Austin.

We'll meet at the Community Garden (address below) and get started right at 9am. We'll spend the morning mulching the orchard, rain garden, communal vegetable area, habitat areas, and perennial beds. No experience required, we’ve got something to do for every skill level! Tools, gloves and drinking water will all be provided. Please bring your own water bottle to help reduce any waste.

After volunteering, head to one of the many restaurants, breweries, and businesses offering specials for IMPD volunteers. Participating organizations include Cosmic Coffee, Houndstooth, The Austin Winery, Independence Brewing Co., The Peached Tortilla, Galaxy Café, Spread & Co. and more. You can see the full list HERE.
